Juan Carlos Torrents – developer statement [read if you want series in HD]
Hi everybody – a while back I wrote an add-on for stremio using http://github.com/Ivshti/stremio-addons that allows this wonderful player to stream torrents, much like popcorn time used to do!
It’s basically a crawler, takes torrents from different dumps / rss feeds and uses cinemeta index.get API to associate them with IMDB IDs. Because it is built that way, it wasn’t affected by the downfall of YTS.re

UPDATE: uploaded to github https://github.com/JCB9090/juan-carlos-torrents-2 What this does: uses multipass-torrent to collect from torrentz.eu, kat.cr feeds and bitsnoop automatically. Exposes it to port 7025 for Stremio. What help is required:
- figure out a more reliable way to get .torrent files ; torcache/torrage seem to not always work; this is needed so that the files within the torrents are indexed (via the name), so they can be associated with IMDB IDs for stremio
- figure out how to get globally top 20 000 seeded video torrents ; currently bitsnoop is used with it’s tracker dump, but it’s not always up to date
Will set-up more things – describe the issues on github, explain better how to run / set up, etc.
