PureVPN Win10 test in China-2021/6/15

Summary: Above I tested the connection to Windows 10 devices in mainland China by using the default Automatic protocol option. As you can see from the test results, the VPN can connect successfully via IKEv2, UDP, and TCP, but the Automatic protocol option varies from server to server and at different speeds. In accordance with PureVPN’s default sorting of a sample of 19 servers, 12 of them successfully connected to the flip. This is a very good performance for a region that uses GFW to block VPNs. I hope PureVPN continues to perform this way.

September 16, 2021 China VPN test. It’s been a month or so since the PureVPN report, and I just went to check out the new version 8.0.2.2 of PureVPN for Windows. I’m looking forward to the new version of PureVPN in China to see if the connection has changed, and I hope that this test will give a true picture of how PureVPN is actually used in the mainland. It’s also worth noting that PureVPN’s browser plug-in works well for those who only want a single browser to connect, rather than a global network connection, and those interested can try it out for themselves. If there is time I will also spot check the test.

The daily speed test will help you understand three things.
1. the success rate of the VPN’s server connection in the device under test.
2. the server connection time of the VPN in the tested device.
3. the speed of the VPN after a successful connection to the server in the device under test.

PureVPN Win10 test in China-2021/6/15

June 15, 2021 China VPN test, today will test the Windows version of PureVPN, this test PureVPN version is 8.0.0.8, VPN connection protocol will use Automatic + IKEv2. Currently PureVPN then Windows only supports IKEv2, TCP, UDP three kinds of protocol options, according to the previous connection, IKEv2 protocol connection is the best. I have rarely tested the Auto protocol, so this test will be conducted first with Auto and then with IKEv2, and the Auto test will include a speed test, while the IKEv2 test will only publish the test results. There is a big difference.

Summary : I tested the Auto and IKEv2 protocols in the Windows version of PureVPN today, and both connection protocols tested similarly. PureVPN has many more servers to try and I only tried a very small percentage of them. But the servers in the US region that connected successfully all had good speeds.
