Sean Power and Richie Cirillo met backstage at homebake, and found an instant connection through their insatiable appetite for rock. Having both spent time in a slew of bands, they were united through their desire to unleash their brand of punchy, melodic, guitar driven rock. The first Torrents EP was recorded and mixed on a zero dollar budget, on a laptop, in an inner city loft. A combination of drummers were used on the recordings, and taking their cue from Queens of the Stonage, Torrents will augment their powerhouse live show with varying combinations of players.
